The Journey
Landow Jewish Academy was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that every Jewish child deserves access to a meaningful, high-quality Jewish education. From its earliest days, Landow was guided not only by vision, but by blessing. The school’s mission was shaped by the brachos and guidance of the greatest Torah leaders of our generation—from the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s prophetic words that “the spigots will open to bring 100,000 Jewish children back to their source,” to the heartfelt urgings of Rav Moshe Shapira to “do everything possible to tend to the Jewish youth of America,” and the passionate encouragement of Rav Yochanan Zweig, who called this “the greatest project to invest all one’s kochos and time.” From that spiritual foundation, a small dream took root in a humble storefront with just 25 students. What began with limited space and boundless faith has grown into a thriving movement—now home to over 600 students on a state-of-the-art campus in Fort Lauderdale—guided by outstanding educators and fueled by an unshakable mission to build Jewish pride, identity, and excellence for generations to come.

The Miracle
Humble Beginnings
What began as a modest effort to provide a home for Jewish children has grown into one of the largest kiruv (Jewish outreach) schools in the world — and the only Pre-K through 12th-grade outreach school in Florida.
The Miracle Continues
Each day is a continuation of the miracle: families rediscovering connection, children thriving in both Torah and academics, and generations being shaped by the values of Am Yisroel (the Jewish people).
The Future Inspires Us
If you remark on the school’s success to Rabbi Chaim Albert, our Head of School and the heart of this mission, he’ll simply smile and say,
“Now we have to open nine more.”
He means it. Because for him — and for all of us — every Jewish child still waiting for a Jewish education is an opportunity to keep building a future filled with purpose and hope.
The Mission
Landow Jewish Academy was established to meet a painful disparity in the Jewish world.
We believe Jewish education is a birthright, not a privilege. Unfortunately, for too many families, it has not been an option.
We exist to change that.
Financial Barriers
We do not allow finances to stand in the way of a Jewish child’s education.
Transportation
With bus routes from every direction, no family is too far to belong.
Quality
Excellence without compromise: rigorous academics, dynamic sports, advanced STEM and Judaic studies, and career-path programs in architecture, medical, and business fields — even dual enrollment beginning in middle school.
Belonging
At Landow, every neshama — every soul — is seen, valued, and nurtured.

The Vision Ahead
Landow’s dream is bigger than a single campus — it’s a model for the future of Jewish education.
One where no child is turned away, where Torah and success walk hand in hand, and where every brachah (blessing) given at the start continues to unfold with each student who walks through our doors.
From a humble beginning to a movement — together, we are shaping the next generation of proud, fearless, and committed Jews.
